Summary
The book “I’d tell you I love you but then I’d have to
kill you” is about a girl named Cameron Morgan. She isn’t just a normal girl,
she’s a spy-in-training! Nothing in her life is what it appears to be. Her
school isn’t just a normal school. It’s a spy-school in Roseville. In this book, she is in
her sophomore year. It’s the first time she gets Covert Operations and it’s
also the first time she falls in love. She falls in love with Josh. She and her
best friends/roommates (Rebecca Baxter and Liz Sutton) spy on him until they
exactly know how he feels about her. The same year, they get a new roommate,
Macey McHenry. She’s an absolute boys expert! Eventually, Cammie and Josh start
dating. At a certain moment, Cammie breaks up with Josh since she has been
telling nothing but lies. That happens right before finals-week. When she has a
CoveOps final, Josh comes in on a forklift truck, trying to save her. Then her
mom (the headmistress) gives him a cup of tea and after that he and Cammie have
a fight wich ends with her confessing.
I really liked the book, because it wasn’t that hard
to read and I got kind of sucked into Cammie’s world. I enjoyed reading the
book and I hope a lot of people will like it too!
New ending!
I started walking down the Grand Stairs as I saw
Josh leaning against the wall. On his right side, there was a secret
passageway. The first one I used to sneak out! As I continued walking down the stairs he looked at me. He examined
me from top to bottom. I slowly started walking towards him. I saw the panic in
his eyes as he started sliding with his hands on the wall. It looked like he
was looking for an escape-route. Then I stood in front of him. His lips were
moving but I couldn’t hear his voice as I leaned closer and closer. And there
was the blow. And then the whole world went black.
